* We say 8% because Open Collective Foundation takes 5% for crowdfunding done on the site and third-party payment processors (like Stripe and Paypal) charge separate fees that average 3% on each transaction made using their service. Learn more here. We take 4-8% for bank transfers and checks: 8% for up to 500k raised; 6% for up to 1 million raised; 4% for over a million raised.

Community events

Join our Community Forum on first Fridays of the month to meet the team and other Collectives in a space of mutual support.

Resources for Events

Events are part of our emergent Solidarity School where Collectives meet one another, build trust, share skills, and learn from special guests. Upcoming events include: the monthly Community Forum, a (new!) monthly Welcome Party, a (new!) Fundraising 101, a (new!) Grantwriting 101, and a quarterly Solidarity Economy 101.

What type of learning would support your Collective? Please hop in #ocf-solidarity-school-alumni and #community-support on Slack or join an upcoming Community Forum to share on the type of learning you would like. Mike Strode and Caroline Woolard are also available to talk through your ideas.

Our July Community Forum will feature The Missing Piece: Creating Healing Listening Spaces sharing more about Emotional CPR (eCPR), a community education program that teaches people how to support another person experiencing an emotional crisis.
